Nigerian senator's PhD exposed as fake

Nigeria's university commission has dismissed a senator's PhD certificate as invalid, saying the institution where he claims to have earned it is in fact an "illegal university". Cheating husbands and wives, you are warned.

Pennsylvania wife ambushes husband's lover and kills herself An ex-political candidate was shot dead by her lover's wife in a suburban Philadelphia home before the attacker turned the gun on herself, police say. Jennair Gerardot, 48, broke into the house of Meredith Chapman, 33, and ambushed her as she returned home on Monday evening. Investigators say Mrs Gerardot may have worn a disguise. About three years ago, Asdourian, a New York-based comedian and filmmaker, met up with an old friend at a bar. He took her back to his apartment in Manhattan's East Village. "We were basically approaching the finish line ... and I came out, and when I went to go back in, she was pushing back, and basically it just popped," he said. Asdourian suffered a severe case of penile fracture -- what in medical terms would be referred to as a "corpus ca...

By the time her mother received the doctor’s email, Yuna Lee was already 2 years old, a child with a frightening medical mystery. Plagued with body-rattling seizures and inconsolable crying, she could not speak, walk or stand. “Why is she suffering so much?” her mother, Soo-Kyung Lee, anguished. Brain scans, genetic tests and neurological exams yielded no answers. But when an email popped up suggesting that Yuna might have a mutation on a gene called FOXG1, Soo-Kyung froze.
